Friendship Circle Hebrew School

Sundays 10:00am - 12:00 pm
at Chabad of the West Side
166 W97th St.

Our Friendship Circle Hebrew School is open for high functioning children, ages 5-13 with specific learning challenges like language or auditory processing, without significant behavioral issues in a classroom setting. Shadows/paras are welcome as well.

We meet on Sunday mornings, from 10am - 12pm AM at Chabad of the West Side, follow the private school calendars and also are closed on Jewish holidays. See this year's calendar below.

Our always exciting curriculum covers the Jewish holidays, Tefilah [prayers/songs], Torah stories, Jewish traditions and Mitzvot, Aleph Bet/Hebrew reading, and music with Rabbi Chayim. We learn through doing: arts and crafts, baking, drama, games, song, dance and active play are all part of the daily routine, and the children generally return home after each class with a (project) creation of their own.

We generally have a staff to student ratio of 1-1 and will help your child in any area s/he needs!

We also work one-on-one to help prepare our students for their Bar / Bat Mitzvah.

The Hebrew School tuition ranges based on your ability to pay - no questions asked - from $3,200 to $500 for the year which includes our scheduled 32 classes.
